Album Info:Sitting along the Ohio River, at the convergence of Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia. Area is rich with railroad history, and CSX maintains a triple track main through town. NS mainline sits just across the river in Ironton, OH.

Old L&N servicing stencil on side of open hopper. SLS was the South Louisville Shops, main shop for the entire L&N. Shops closed in late 80's, torn down in early 90's.
